Hello!

It's been about a month since my last update, and there's been a number of various changes that have been made to TentaCat. 

  • Aqua's character design has been altered, now featuring a magic gem on his forehead.
  • The fullscreen shortcut "=" has been implemented on every screen layout rather than just the title screen and stages.
  • A bug fix has been implemented for the boss fight portion of the demo. Diesel is supposed to fall backwards in slow motion, but the slow motion speed was not working.
  • The player camera has been modified so that the player isn't dead center on the screen. 
  • The player camera's Y-axis will now shift down a bit when the player is on a higher platform, that way they can see the floor better. 
  • The island illustration in the intro has been re-drawn.
  • The island map in the stage select has been tweaked a bit to reflect the island illustration from the intro
  • The TentaCat logo has been modified,  fixing the unbalanced lettering and making the logo sprite larger.
  • The Golem's bullet sprites are larger and now flash multiple colors for better visibility.
  • A bug fix has been implemented for when the player sprite would randomly shift upwards while the player was locked in a stun animation from being hurt.
  • A bug fix has been implemented for when the player would die in a spike pit with only one heart left, the explosion sprite would spawn in twice.
  • The "start the game" button at the start of the game has a button pressing animation.
  • The link to the TentaCat twitter at the end of the demo now changes color when the cursor hovers over the text.
  • A bug fix has been implemented for the incorrect placement of the "demo mode" text that flashes in the corner of the screen.
